Komodo Edit is my IDE of choice. I wanted a way to integrate JS Lint into it without needing any command line nastiness, so I developed an extension to enable it as a Menu option. The extension takes advantage of Komodo having a javascript engine and grabs document text, sends it through a version of JSLint bundled within the extension, and then parses the results into an output panel.

An initially simple implementation of MultiMap’s search API, made complicated by the need to restrict the search to two countries (UK + IE) - something that MultiMap doesn’t seem to support out-of-the-box.

I worked on a couple of pages and a jQuery carousel for this site for Hutchinson 3G. Special care was taken to ensure a good experience was provided for mobile users, with testing done on multiple devices.

I was one of the principal interface developers on Barclays.com, building in excess of 80 module types to be used with Fatwire CMS, including Javascript and AJAX work to progressively enhance layout and form modules.

I was drafted in for a few weeks complex jQuery and layout debugging on this extranet, working within a veritable spaghetti junction of .Net controls.

I spent a couple of weeks bug-fixing and tweaking jQuery and AJAX performance on this intranet, and eventually managed to coerce Quicktime to behave in an overlay in Internet Explorer.

I’ve been called in a few times as emergency de-bugger on a number of Standard Chartered projects. SWFObject, IE7 and .Net don’t play nice.

I’ve been working on this Agile project through a number of iterations, styling pages and developing markup and javascript functionality within a .Net environment.

The site was nominated in 2008 for a British Interactive Media Award for best social media application.

I built and styled a number of pages, fixed a few javascript bugs and implemented SiFR on page headings

I set up the HTML and CSS for this site from scratch and carried out the majority of the build.

Full design and build.

I was responsible for all XHTML and CSS on this extremely complex build. This included developing print styles and an HTML email.

This is the site that I really cut my teeth on, getting to grips with asymmetrical boxes, transparent pngs, gradient backgrounds and building HTML modules capable of being inserted through the CMS in differently sized positions throughout the site.

The site was shortlised for an NMA Effectiveness Award in 2008.

I squashed a number of bugs of this very pretty banking website.
